Our Creative Activities at Sewing Seeds
At Sewing Seeds, we believe in nurturing creativity and handcraft skills in children.
Not only are these skills incredible for cognitive development, but while learning these fine motor skills they prepare their little hands, to be ready for developing their hand writing skills once they start school.
Here are some of the activities we offer:
Colour Exploration: Engaging with various art mediums to understand and appreciate colours.
Textural Experiences: Exploring different textures through hands-on activities.
Painting: Encouraging self-expression through painting techniques, using a variety of painting mediums.
Colouring: A great way to help develop the pincer grip while the children enjoy exploring their imagination as they tell stories through the pictures they draw.
Sewing: Teaching basic sewing skills to create unique projects, that children get to treasure when they go home with them.
Weaving: Introducing children to the art of weaving. A great way to learn about numbers, patterns and sequences.
Finger Knitting: Helping children learn the basics of knitting for creativity and dexterity.
Woodworking: Activities like hammering, sanding, sawing, and cutting to develop fine motor skills.
Crafting: Using gluing and threading techniques to create various crafts.
And so much more...........
These activities not only foster creativity but also help children develop essential skills in a fun and engaging way!
